The best hairdressing salon in the country is getting a new, much-anticipated $15 million grant from the UK’s Government.
The Government is funding the grant from its UK Fund for Hair, a government-backed investment program that aims to boost growth and economic development.
This is the second time the Government has awarded a grant to a UK hair salon.
The first time, the Government awarded a £5 million grant in 2013.
The new grant will allow UK hairdressers to focus on a wider range of customer needs.
“It will allow us to provide services to the wider hairdression industry and allow us as a profession to focus more on delivering the best services for our clients,” said James McClelland, a UK Fund representative and the executive director of the Hair, Beauty and Personal Care Association (B.B.P.A.).
“The Government is making a very significant investment in our industry to make sure we continue to provide quality services and we are very excited about this new opportunity to deliver it.”
In addition to the new grant, the Hair Association of Wales is receiving a £3 million grant for its work to increase the availability of haircuts in Wales.
The new hair salon will be located in Bridgend, near Cardiff, and the establishment will be owned and operated by a consortium of British-based hairdresser owners.
It will be run by a team of two.
The Hair Association will have the right to hire a full-time assistant, but only one person will be a hairdressier, with a minimum of two hairdresses per team.
In the past, the hairdressery was owned and managed by men, and most of its work was in the hair, make-up and hair styling department.
But McCleelland said that in 2018, there was an opportunity to improve the grooming process by hiring more women and to create a more equal, diverse, inclusive and supportive working environment.
The Hair Association is an affiliate of the British Hair Association.
The new hairdressering program will allow it to offer better services to customers, said McClellan.
It will also allow it, and other hairdresseries, to compete in the Hairdressers’ Market for a greater share of the hairdressed population.
As part of the new scheme, the UK Fund will be providing an additional £10 million in support to hairdresserers.
The UK Fund is a national charity, and aims to help disadvantaged and underprivileged children and young people and is the largest UK-based charitable giving program.
This is the third time the UK Foundation for Hair has awarded funding to a British hair salon, and is currently looking at a fourth grant.
Bridgend has been designated the ‘hair and beauty’ capital of Wales for the past two years, and McClella has been the head of the local Hair and Beauty Association for more than 30 years.
McClellands family is the founder and CEO of the Scottish hairdresserer, St George Hairdress, and he said that he was proud of the Government’s decision to award a grant in the UK.
“I am delighted that we have received this important new investment and I am hopeful that we will be able to offer our customers the best hairlines and hair and make-ups possible,” he said.
We’re looking forward to opening up this new salon in 2019 and will make the best of it.
